I keep getting these emails from people offering strange stocks for sale and also emails from Chinese people selling drugs. Is there anything I can do to stop this? I tried sending them back, but they were undeliverable. Does anyone know how to do this?

Don't open any emails from people you don't know, mark all unsolicited emails as spam and never check the unsubscribe box. Peace!

Your best bet is to turn on filters. By sending them back, your confirming the email address is a valid one. I get them all the time and I just delete them. Sometimes the email contains an opt out link at the bottom, but I'm not sure how effective this is.

There is only one way to stop getting these emails. Disconnect your computer from the internet. Other than that , but other answers have some good information.

Mark all those emails as spam instead of deleting them and the next time you will never see it again in your mailbox. Good luck.

If you get spam email that you think is deceptive, forward it to spam@uce.gov. The FTC uses the spam stored in this database to pursue law enforcement actions against people who send deceptive email.

Mark them Spam in your browser, like Yahoo.
Run Spam Assassin on an IPCOP.org server you build out of an old Pentium Class machine, that runs headless.
