where should I try to find residence for 10 days?

Homeless shelter, if you can find one that is half way decent in the area. Otherwise, what about a relative, a friend, taking off for a vacation. If there is a YMCA/YWCA in the area. Perhaps you can apply for a job at a hotel/motel as a janitor or grounds keeper for a place to stay for the ten days.

You didn't state the reason why it was being demo'd. If you have an insurance claim on this property, there would be coverage under your homeowner's policy for "additional living expense" for which you could collect. If you are in a rental and are being put out temporarily, your landlord is responsible to pay for your housing during the 10-day period.
