Yes! I totally did and guess what happened? My love came to me in my season of being busy and overwhelmed with my academic and professional pursuits. I advise this to all people (especially women) to know deep down in your heart what you want in a mate, pray about it, and then get busy and move on in your life. What happened to me was that when I was preoccupied with work, a man with similar interests and goals found me and we are very happy together. To be successful in love and career, you don't necessarily have to forsake one or the other but try to find ways to incorporate the two. I hope that this offers some insight.

Education and a career are VERY important = job = money = survival .Finding TRUE love is not that easy and does take time. You just hae to set aside time for it - for dating.

I did. I was more stable in my career before I concentrate on finding true love. It's difficult to focus on two things at once. It would be totally unfair to both sides if i choose to pursue both at the same time.
