To be a successful politician you need to be a good no great liar.but to be a successful public servant you have to be so much more and know the difference between right and wrong and chose right even when no ones looking

They need to see the vision of the peoples needs, A true leader will inspire a nation and want the good for people not for their pockets or power. Help people, especially the less fortunate, change laws that defend criminals to defend the victims instead. Use money for free healthcare and free education (university) instead of war. Someone with a brain for a change

Def of an honest politician is, "One when bought, stays bought!" I guess successful would be, the one that dies with the most money.
I'd love to find a few that could not be bought!!!

Being a good liar is a must as well as being able to live with their (if any left0 conscience after they've voted for their so-called reforms & or laws. No wonder decent people will have nothing to do with politics which is a shame as this is EXACTLY what this country needs!
