I can't open rear windows from back seats. I can only do it with main buttons, located on the front left door of the car. When I press and hold a button that should unlock rear windows, person sitting on the back seat can open the window. As soon as I let the button, the person can't open.
Please help me solve this problem, everytime someone wants to open rear window, I have to hold the button.

sounds like a bad switch or rear window lock out switch

I also have this problem. It appears that the window lock button will not stay down to unlock the rear windows. I have yet to ask my Audi dealer (my '99 A6 has 180k km) but I suspect that may be the issue.
