Why is this?
I am doing a short essay about this subject. When women are promiscous they are deemed "whores", but men are congratulated. I am having a hard time finding sources online of this subject.
MY QUESTION IS: Can anyone direct me towards articles that have to deal with this double standard?
I would really appreciate it. Since, my crappy library didn't have the book I was looking for.

You're WAY overgeneralizing. In general, that "double standard" does not exist. It's just something that people in college like to get excited about - it barely exists in the real world, and certainly doesn't merit a short essay.
Why not pick a more genuine topic?

Society has changed and now you can hear names such as "man whore" and such. Check out article websites and you can find your subjects to the nine.
