Anson Carter, who I believe is in Carolina now after the deadline, has been on ten (10!) teams over his career. Here goes a try: Washington, Edmonton, Vancouver, Columbus, Carolina, Boston...ok so there are four more, but there's at least a sample. This guy has been all over the friggin place.

The record is currently held by Mike Sillinger, with 12 teams. 1) Red Wings 2) Ducks 3) Canucks 4) Flyers 5) Lightning 6) Panthers 7) Senetors 8) Blue Jackets 9) Coyotes 10) Blues 11) Predetors, 12) Islanders.

Nobody else has even played for 11 teams. Note that the link that I provided doesn't list the Isles, as it updates at the end of the season.
