Simultaneity is events happening at an identical point of time. Synchrony is events happening in logically related times such that each event supports or enhances the other events...... in synchrony, the key difference is that there can be time gaps amongst the concerned events, and in those cases the gaps are necessary or logical for the effectiveness of the events concerned.

Simultaneity is acting together. Synchrony is reinforcing one another via a feedback system.

Consider a swing being pushed. Two people pushing together as hard as they can is Simultaneity.
One person standing on each side of the swing pushing as hard as they can as the swing returns to the other is Synchrony. The swing steadily travels faster and higher until a maximum is reached. It is also called Harmonic reinforcement.
