Maybe this married person has an understanding with their spouse. Maybe it's financial . Maybe it would be embarrassing for the family, grandparents, grandchildren, children, business associates. Maybe his is just a very self-centered selfish person who is going though a mid-life crisis or has a sexual addiction. Or has a to-do list he is trying to fulfill. Who knows.
Why can't married people be true to their vows, spouse and themselves. Fix what needs fixing with understanding, flexibility and love. (for better or worse, in sickness and in health) God sees it all . He saw it when they got married and he sees the unfaithfulness,. He is watching and waiting for the couple to come to him open-minded with a spirit of forgiveness, grace, mercy and commitment to the vows and promises they made before God, family and friends that one fine day.

Usually they do this because they are scared of leaving the marriage and telling their spouse that they are unhappy and want out of the marriage... Yes honesty is the best policy and they should tell them and let them go and file for divorce first before even looking to be with someone else BUT most people are selfish and will cheat and be unfaithful while still being married as they want the best of both worlds.... Like getting some at home and getting some on the side. Cheating and ruining the marriage by cheating is not the right thing to do at all... It is much better to let them go and get the divorce then start seeing someone else.

Well I was going to say because they are unhappy, But you allready addressed that. Um, I would say they want their cake and eat it to or they are scared to leave the other relationship.
Recent studies indicate that males are more likely to engage in adulterous activity for the sexual experience only, than are women. Although this is not a rule, we do see more instances of men cheating on their wives purely for the physical act of sex. These men are more likely to have a relationship with any willing female and to allow that relationship to end quickly or immediately than are women. Women committing adultery tend to initiate an affair for some “greater purpose” than lust.

He just wants a piece of @ss. It doesn't mean that they are unhappy, but some people just don't care about their family, their marriage vows, or care about having respect for themselves or their spouse.

Very simple love, the reason why married people cheat with someone else is to have that thrill knowing that they can sneak out behind their spouse back. It made them feel excited and it turns them on that way, even if they say they feel guilty. You be strong.................

Getting out of a marriage isn't easy. Getting out of any relationship is hard, let alone one you're legally bound to. That's why.
Oh, and the cheater is morally bankrupt.
