Hmm - complicated one.

If you know someone else who is going - ask what they are going to wear. Or even ask your friend who is getting married.

Traditionally, evening wedding would be formal - but Florida and Barbecue are definitely NOT.

Personally, I'm not to keen on LBD - but I'm old enough that my mother would KILL me for wearing black to a wedding. If you have something dressy and knee length that isn't black - I'd go for that.

And - as a matter of comfort - pantyhose tend to be a no-no in FL due to humidity.

Have fun & remember, it's more important that you are there for your friend than what you wear!

Afternoon/evening weddings are generally considered less formal than a morning wedding. I would recommend something a little less "there" than black and glittery. Something strappy and light would be appropriate, with sandals. Pick something that is one color and flattering to your complexion.
