He's an intelligent and charismatic individual, and was a Senator for 1 1/2 terms.

I completely disagree with his politics, but at least he seems intelligent enough to have formed his opinions based on reason, rather than blindly following the pack.

After reviewing his Senate voting record I'm still undecided, but it seems a moot point as I thought he gave up politics after his daughter passed away.

Thanks to coragryphs post, I now have a clue who he is, and I agree that he is at least his own man, but I won't be voting for him, because I disagree with everything he supports.
