i have a laptop 2.0GHz cpu AMD 64 athlon 3000+
the core temperature is between 55 when idle and usually 68, is it normal? can this temperature fry my cpu?

I do have to say that is high but it should not do much harm i would suggest getting a better fan for it.

That seems to be a normal temperature. Those things run pretty hot.

thats a pretty good temp myne gets way hotter then that myne gets so hott i got to put extra fans under it when i use it.... but thats a good computer ..later
