I quit about 5 days ago and today im having really bad chest pains and really really craving a smoke!! why does it hurt so damn much, my chest feels like its gonna blow up

it's called nicotine addiction, you can't really eliminate all those nicotine in your body all at once , but by quitting smoking, you don't add anymore those nicotine to your blood you need to have a strong will power for to be able to quit smoking, otherwise you need to get help from a doctor or support group for that nicotine addiction.

Chest pains would not be normal unless you mean only that your chest hurts. . . usually from all of the coughing alot of people do when they quit smoking.
Withdrawals might be one explanation but the chest thing is probably because your body is now trying to rid it'self of the nicotine that has collected in your lungs during the time you smoked.
CONGRATULATIONS and stick with it. In the end it WILL be WORTH IT.

How long have you smoked? You have, more than likely, caused some damage to your lungs. It should stop over time, as well the cravings for the most part.

Because your deprived from the nicotine.
I reccommend you going to get those Nicoderm patches or gum...just stay strong and know your better than those damned cancer sticks

The physical withdrawl is almost over hang in there take a decongestant cough syrup if you can. It will help.
