they really don't make sounds. They will sound like they are gargling if they are threatening to spit, but they are a relatively quiet animal.

They make all sorts of sounds. The most common sound you will hear them make is a humming sound, they also have an alarm call when they are scared, and they give a warning grunt before they spit.
