Carolina comes from North Carolina- works for me. and we get hit by a lot of hurricanes (until '05, the most of any state) so Hurricanes makes a lot of sense to me. It's also a natural disaster, And sounds good as a team name.

Yes, I'm living in North Carolina right now. And i'm not sure what this question has to do w/hockey unless your referring to the Hurricanes.

I love this name ..... But it is not for hockey ....
So, very good for girl and very bad for NHL team.
Carolina Hurricanes sounds like New York City Farmers - incompatible words for me.
