like the name carolina

Carolina comes from North Carolina- works for me. and we get hit by a lot of hurricanes (until '05, the most of any state) so Hurricanes makes a lot of sense to me. It's also a natural disaster, And sounds good as a team name.
And if you don't think those words are compatible, try living here!

Yes, I'm living in North Carolina right now. And i'm not sure what this question has to do w/hockey unless your referring to the Hurricanes.

not really but the Carolina name is better than their original name: the Hartford Whalers.

I love this name ..... But it is not for hockey ....
So, very good for girl and very bad for NHL team.
Carolina Hurricanes sounds like New York City Farmers - incompatible words for me.

Ummmm..i dont know what "names" have to do with hockey. I would understand if you were talking about the canes, but obviousley your not.
