I love naked mole rats but i dont know where to go to get one. i live in metro detroit so wheres a good exotic pet shop where they'd have one?

You can't. They live in social groups that are similar to a beehive's structure and do not do well alone or in captivity. They are pretty cool, but I am pretty sure are illegal and threatened in some or most of their natural habitat.

I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure you can't. You can "adopt" one at http://nationalzoo.si.edu/support/adoptspecies/animalinfo/nakedmolerat/default.cfm but you can't bring it home. You'd just basically be donating money to help out the naked mole rats and then you can say that you've got a naked mole rat who lives in the D.C. zoo.
