Do you find the word P ussy insulting

I have to say I don't think I do particularly.

As a woman, if I man were to say it to me in a derogatory and nasty tone in order to insult me then I would be offended, because of the way it is used, it then becomes a slur on womanhood and being a woman.

If it is used to imply that someone is a bit of a wimp, then I don't find it too insulting, even though it is possibly again an insult to women, it seems less so.

I don't find it so offensive from a woman, because she has one too!

Again though, I am old enough to know it as an entirely different word too :)

Sometimes I do, but I'm also old enough to know that this word has changed meaning over time from cat/kitty to female genitalia. I guess it depends in what context it's being used. People who read fairy tales will come accross this word in it's original meaning quite often, unless the publishers have sanitized the text. ie. "Puss'n Boots".
