The Movie:
Well, it's about a chauvinist man who hits his head and can hear women's thoughts. He starts out using this "gift" to manipulate women around him to his selfish gain. Still chauvinist. Then he kind of 'gets" it, what women are really about, what they go through, why they get so mad and upset. But the movie kind of wimped out and it turned into a romance. Not very feminist. At least he came through for his daughter. Kind of.
What has feminism done to our society?
On the up side:
It has opened things up educationally, economically, politically. It has put a spotlight on sexual harrassment. It has given the younger generations of young women a real choice.
On the down side:
Women can have it all, and we have the psychosis and health problems to proove it. Now, not only can women go out and earn a living, they are expected (by men) to still go home and cook, clean, and be a sex kitten too. Too many men still don't really respect women. Not really. They are condescending and critical and sexist.
Men. Can't live with them. Can't live with them. (That's a joke)

I think heterosexual women want a straight man who looks and acts masculine, but does feminine things and reveals his feminine qualities.
