I am going bananas trying to get rid of hyperlinks. I've tried some suggestion from ask.com but nothing's worked. Thanks.

You neglect to say where these hyperlinks are.
If they are in text documents such as MS Word or similar, do this:
Right click on the hyperlink.
A box with options will display.
Select 'Remove Hyperlink'.
It will then just go back to being normal text.

A hyperlink is a clickable area on a webpage to take you some where else maybe to another site or another webpage on that site you can't get rid of them they're built in to the webpage besides if you had no hyperlinks you couldn't do much on the web

When browsing the internet, you do not want to remove hyper links, and to do so is very difficult. It can be done by means of "FireBug" if you are using Firefox, but I don't recommend it. If you are trying to remove hyper links in Microsoft Word, right click on the hyper link and select the "Remove Hyper link" option. Hope this helps.

You eat them. I would put them in the crock pot first. They taste better.
