Friends are people that are so close to you that they could be considered family. You are involved with them in thier lives and they are involved and care about yours.
Fair weather friends are people who you like and who appear to like you, but they don't call you NEARLY as often as you call them and more than a month passes between outings with each other.
So which do you have more of?

I for sure have more friends.
I refuse to associate myself with people who don't really care about me because I invest a lot into friendships and I expect a lot in return.

Without a doubt I have more fair weather friends. But, that is a good thing cause I like my space and don't need a bunch of people bothering me all the time. I have 3 FRIENDS and that is more than enough!

Hmmmmmm, sadly I have to say I have an ample few associates and only a couple of real friends. Friends to me is someone that knows me so well that he or she knows what makes me laugh or cry and can stand by me during either. A true friend isn't just around when the going is good. But for those that are friendships of convenience... Those bridges I've had to burn.

have 4 really loyal and loving friends that I've had for over 20 years, OH , but the other, so many phony fair weather friends, from work, and yes even at the church I attend, makes me sad, since I've moved here

a honest climate buddy is one that is barely around while issues are going properly for you. as quickly as you have a topic or desire their help in any way they're no the place to be got here across!

neither.....I have people that I work with that I sometimes hang out with but we dont have a whole lot in common ....I dont trust anyone any more .....real friends are hard to find the older I get....I fell I have nothing in common with anyone else but my huz....I wish I had a close friend but I do not...boo whooooo for me eh?
