Is this true? For Steven King fans?

In the book Insomnia, Ralph picks up a red shoe. I heard that it is the same shoe from the little boy Gage that was hit by a truck in the beginning of the first Pet Semetary movie. And did Misery and Delorise Claiborne happen on the same night?

Um..I have not read Insomnia, but Stephen King will sometimes use images from other stories...I vaguely recall in Gerald's Game contained a reference to Delores C. , Some names appear in different books...in The Stand...Randall Flagg...Eyes of the Dragon...Roland...The Dark Tower Series...it's possible. ;)
