I bought a house last year and I am not sure if it is Bermuda grass. The grass is currently dead and has been all winter. I am just looking for tips to make my lawn look good.

I bought a house in the south two years ago. The builder sodded the front yard with Bermuda grass. It goes dormant in the winter and looks like hay. Bermuda spreads by vines. This is how I can always tell if Bermuda is planted. It will grow into mulch as well. Bermuda spreads quickly. We had a lot of trouble with weeds in the first year. We now use Lawn Doctor, and the lawn is in wonderful condition. It is now starting to turn a little green.
