Or is it just me? Because relaxed fit jeans always make my butt look strange; almost square/rectangleish.

Gawwd, if you want to wear them, wear them. You think they look ugly on you, don't wear them. It only depends on what you think.

I guess it depends on who is looking at them. Personally, i do not like sagging jeans wore on girls because girls should wear tight jeans to make their butts, well, cute :P. But, it really depends on a person's perspective. If the girl wants people to look and stare, then tight jeans is the best choice. If it does make your butt look weird, then my best advice is workout and make it cute :).
Also, if you think your butt look square/rectangleish, its probably because the relaxed fit jeans are meant for people to not feel the tightness in the butt area, so there would be space around your butt area which creates the square/rectangleish surface.
To conclude this, wear relaxed fit jeans at home or to places that people dont judge you by your looks. Wear tight jeans to places where you want to be cute and sexy.

i hate buying jeans dude. i have a small ***, the only thing that helps me are tight flares. or certain types of skinny jeans. but only ones that don't make me look like a flaming emo.

tall thin short hippy bodys ETC,,
wear what looks good on you

i think they look bad on everybody. they give everybody who wears them "saggy butt syndrome". boot cut or straight leg are farm more flattering.
