It is not accepted as easily. Your not the same run of the mill person. People will think your different. Oh, that's the point is it not? I personally think unconventional anything is exciting.

The worst part is that with conventional thinking you get led to believe someone will HAH! GOTCHA! BANANAS! BANANAS! say something that makes perfect sense, while BANANAS! NASTY BRUISED BANANAS!! unconventional thinking goes anywhere.
