When I wanted an expensive pair of Bose headphones, I asked for gift cards to the Bose store from my friends & family. It took almost all my Christmas & birthday gift cards (presents) to get one. You might ask for Apple Store or Target gift cards & don't use them until you have enough to buy an iPod.

Just to clarify, not all the advertisements are fake. I went to this site http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=36920289 which actually works. Its an advertising company that draws in new customers for clients like Disney and Blockbuster Video by giving away free products, such at iPods. The company is Gratis Internet, Inc and is based in Washington DC. It really works. I bought 3 DVDs for $6 and got some friends to do the same. After that, I got my iPod in a few weeks. Try it out; it works. Good luck!

then do those fake advertise thingys those people have been putting on here.. wont be hard to find them since THERE EVERYWHERE i think its ipodder.com/info or sumthing... oh and good luck
your second chose would be to buy one on ebay or amazon
dont buy from anybody on here tho.
P.S. dont buy from that guy down there charging $300 when u could get a brand new one for $140 or less. If u have a costco near by..buy one from there there really cheap, like $113-$120.

u dont buy fr other people,its not the greatest thing to do.dont buy an ipod,it really expensive ,thets why ur parents wont buy it 4 u.u better buy sandisk sansa player ,cheap but reliable china mp4 players..it only cost about 80 us dollars!!!
