If you are worried about it, don't put it on your resume.

It should not have any effect if you get your credentials - but if you are looking at working in a small town or very conservative area, consider finding a different waitressing position (of course, you probably make decent tips at Hooters!)

(You can leave it off your resume because it isn't related to the field. You wouldn't list it if you were making a "functional" resume If you are unsure, use "Related Work Experience" as a heading and don't worry about it. And, since you are in school, many will assume you weren't working anyhow.)

As a parent I consider you to be role model for my children, not just a paid employee. Working at Hooters and what some of those girls are doing behind the scenes are exactly NOT what I want for a role model. If you are serious about teaching get a respectable part time job.

it might not be the combo that a school would accept because of the stigma that that position has
