I recently moved and reconnected my Tivo to apartment- provided cable. It seems that connections have been made and all is functional, but 2 channels are nothing but static. When I disconnect Tivo, they are fine. Any thoughts on why this is, and most importantly how to fix it?

Watch live TV through your Tivo, or connect the antenna directly to your TV via a splitter with the other end going to the Tivo. Hook the Tivo up to the TV with the video cables (red white and yellow) This should keep the Tivo's RF modulator from interfering with your live TV viewing.

Hi Karen,

I surmise you have your TiVO set to play on channel 4. Try switching it to play on channel three. (there is a selector switch on the back of TiVO marked 3-4).

If that doesn't work re-post your question with details on your connections. Are you using Red White Yellow cable or the thick single cable.
