You can forgive some, but you shouldn't confuse that with forgetting. I think it is in your best mental interest to forgive someone - to let go of the anger and resentment. This helps you to move on with your life. BUT, I don't think you can ever forgot. That is why I wouldn't continue a relationship with someone who cheated. I don't think I could ever forget or trust that person again.

Ya i think it can be done but there are many things that will effect if you want to forgive the person. Just weigh the two sides and see which one feels better to you. You don't have to forgive them, but you also don't have to hate them because personally to me it's way to much effort to be mad at someone when it's not worth it. Good luck I hope it works out

yes you can...but u can't forget the pain unless you let it go...time heals the pain...

its really hard to b with and trust someone you knew who is unfaithful to u. .

if you love him/her you can easily forgive him/her. but your partner or whoever you are talking about should take an actions about it. You forgive her and she should do something to get your trust back. if she did not do anything about it then its the right time to let her go...that person maybe not for you..

I think it depends on the situation. I dated a guy who cheated on me, and when I voiced my suspicions to him he yelled at me and made me feel really bad for doubting him. He seemed to feel totally justified in being so mean to me, when in actuality, he was cheating on me! So there was no forgiveness for him when I found out the truth. I think if the person really feels bad, and really loves you, and is willing to come clean and do anything possible to fix their mistake, then you can probably forgive the person. But of course you never forget.
