I think we have a handful of jokers ourselves. Romney and Giuliani were pro abortion- and are closet libs- McCain is a closet lib and is a poster child for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Newt is seen as an elitist, and maybe so- too smart perhaps- Hagel- I have one word: Bagel.
Then we have our nice guy, can't get elected guys.
What do you we do people. Do we want to do what the Dems did last time- pick a loser by default- They back Kerry- Even the Libs had to know that guy was 100% certified Loser.
My Solution- Condi Rice / Fred Thompson -or Jeb Bush 2008 (The libs would love that - George III- they would move to Canada). Esp if Hillary gets nomination- We'll win no matter what- but do we want a loser to win?

I appreciate the thoughtful input from the Libs. The right does not want a theocracy- the left is activist in banning our religious culture- redefining marriage-- You have to expect a cultural backlash. Can we have a uniter? Do Libs want victory? If Bush goes away- will they relax their rabid hatred on all policy?

I like Fred Thompson more today than I did yesterday. There are a lot of people excited about him. + he looks presidential, which is great for those independents who don't know anything about the issues.

California Congressman Duncan Hunter is great! I really think he's the best out there and you can't leave him out. He was being called the long shot yet he took 3rd (behind McCain and Giuliani) in a straw poll in Tampa and 1st in a straw poll in Arizona. Best of all he's not a RINO. He's a real conservative likable guy who is predicted to be able pick up some of the swing voters with his connectivity to the working class. Here is a little about him;

He is a former Vietnam veteran who served in the 173rd Airborne and 75th Army Rangers and earned a Bronze Star. His son also served two tours in Iraq as a Marine.

He has always had a tough stance on immigration and he was responsible for legislation that mandates 845 miles of fence across the major southern border routes used by smugglers of narcotics and people.

He is pro-life. And has no divorces, scandals, or legal troubles. Also, he has an anti-globalization streak and won't pander to ******** piece of crap countries before he takes care of Americans.

Did I mention that I REALLY like this guy???

I was thinking the same thing this morning: that the Democrats have a nice, diverse group of interesting candidates while the Republicans (at this moment) have a big list of losers.

Maybe your party could come up with better candidates if they stopped using one-issue litmus tests, if they came out from under the rock of the "base" of evangelicals and if they actually tried to pick a uniter so that our country could get back on track. Someone even independents could vote for.

no longer elementary to drown in an ocean of "greed" once you pay your expenditures, your taxes, shop on your toddlers's coaching, stay lifelike, and shop on your man or woman retirement... the those which would be drowning are those that the "government" became into created to guard them..

You need a candidate that will speak up about immigration. It's ridiculous that no-one is getting tough on illegals.

Are you going to move to Canada if Hilary takes the White House? Jeesh, I would vote for her just for that to happen.

We don't need any more than one Bill O'Reilly in our country.
