I am obtaining an English B.S. in Ed. degree. I am not interested in a journalism or creative writing minor. My interests may lie in business or math, or something. However, I am not sure what would go along with this major that could work to my benefit. The minors are listed here: http://www.cmsu.edu/majors/
Please give me your opinions. Also, I do not want to minor in something like family and consumer science, because I do not want to risk getting stuck teaching a different subject.

Both math and business would be good minors. Ironically, I usually advise people who major in the sciences or business to do english or speech communication as a minor. So doing something with that understand would provide for a good technical writing background.

Business minor will give you lots of options and it sounds like you are interested.

(Technical writing is always in demand as a field also.)
