I continue to receive compliments about my son who is now 32years of age and a caring individual - very much so. He has a good phylosophy on life and people say the root of this is down to his upbringing - I have raised him by myself for some 25years owing to losing his father. I would not want a better compliment even though i am amazed - however, I have brought him up as to be non judgemental.

This probably isn't the best compliment i've had, but it's one that has always been in my head. I play soccer and so do most of my friends, who are guys. I was training witht their team and my friend said that i was probably better than half the guys in his team. This made me feel really special, one casue it was from one of my BEST friends, one who i love and adore. Two cause most of the guys in the team, part from my friends, were saying girls shouldn't train with the guys cause there not good enough.

Girls like complaments on there clothes. So if a guy tells them that their outfit looks amazing it's very encouraging.

CAUTION: make sure you know the lady tried hard 2 pick an outfit to impress you! it makes them feel like you noticed the amount of time and energy they put into pickin an outfit!

The best compliment was when a random person told me I was an angel, not in an every day way it was different, because not only was he a commenting on my phsyical but on my spiritual beuty as well. I have had others but this beat every one as it was commenting on a deeper beuty.

It seems really silly but one of the sweetest things my boyfriend has ever told me was, while lying on my shoulder, he told me that my hair smelled sweeter than usual.

I had just changed my shampoo the night before.

I found his comment really surprising because it was such a subtle difference that most males don't notice. It really surprised me - I don't think he knows how much it did.

Girls like it when guys notice little things about them. It gives girls the impression that the guys actually pays attention to her.

Right now I can think of two, perhaps three.
This guy once told me that if he had a woman like me he would treat her like a queen.
Another guy said "Damn you're going to make a good wife someday (yrs back)
This girl said to me about this guy we both knew "If he said something like that about me I would be in his arms right now! I am really envious of you!: (no she never told me what it is that he said and I never asked; this same guy told a male cousin that he was planning on telling me this compliment and it supposedly as I was told made him swoon)
Okay four or five
In my hometown there were these two brothers who all the girls would cut off their right arms just to have them look at them. In one night I went out with both. So my cousin says to me "How in the hell do you rate? There are girls in town who would "literally" cut off their right arms just to get them to look at them!"
Another guy said "I dated a lot of woman and she is a true lady."
This compliments still make me smile and I always remember that pride cometh before a fall.

This is going to sound really shallow...but an elderly couple walked up to me one day and said "We just wanted to tell you, you are beautiful...not just beautiful, but strikingly beautiful" I was shocked. I stuttered a thank you, and they walked away. It was VERY weird, yet really sweet, and I think it was the most sincere compliment I've ever received...they certainly had no "ulterior motives." (I know, shallow...oh, well.)

when i was in coronary care several weeks ago, the nurse practitioner told me i would make a great nurse because of the empathy i would have through having experienced so many problems with my health. that was the greatest compliment anyone has ever paid me.
