To keep anything in the water alive, the key is to keep the temperature, light and chemical balance as constant as possible. This means not moving the tank or toggling any heater near the tank, and not putting in anything new such as tap water, rocks, water plants, other animals, anything like that. Many of the babies will probably die, but that's natural and you can't really expect anything else; their bodies will be eaten by bacteria or other shrimp, if they aren't sucked through a filter first. Other than that, probably just leave them alone. I mean, shrimp have survived for millions of years in the wild, they can't be THAT easy to kill off.

There are many type of shrimp kept as pets; cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp, amano shrimp, ghost shrimp etc. the list goes on. They come from various places, have different requirements and have different needs for reproduction, some are fine if left alone in a freshwater tank, others the shrimp larvae need to be transferred into brackish water etc. It's virtually impossible to tell you what to do without knowing the precise species, however this site http://www.petshrimp.com/ is one of the best sites (their forum too) to get information about pretty much any shrimp available in the trade. I'm also making the assumption these are freshwater shrimp, it gets to be more complicated if they aren't...
Hope this helps
