Hi, I am looking for an internship/co-op within michigan(detroit) u.s.a. I have no prior experience and I am doing m.s. in industrial engineering. I would like to know where I can find FREE list of companies especially in the field of automotive, logistics, supply chain management, manufacturing, operations and related fields. Please be specific in your answers. I will be able to do a summer internship starting from may 1, 2007. So please provide with details/links as good as possible for the companies offering internship. I would like to mention that I am not interested in marketing or sales or store management.

You should inquire at Ford or General Motors. Contact their employment/human resources departments and explain what you are looking for.
The first link below is for Ford. There is good contact information in item #12 at that Web page. The second link is for General Motors. Take a look around and familiarize yourself with the company's employment needs. That will help you when seeking an internship.
