I'm not sure. I don't know any crazy people so I can't ask them but its a perfectly good question. I wonder if they're idea of craziness is the same as ours and would they fit into that category if it was. I don't think they actually know that they have a problem, some of them yes but it depend on the type of craziness we're talking about here.

That depends on what flavor of "crazy" you're talking about. A person suffering from clinical depression may know that he/she is depressed.

Someone suffering from Bipolar Depression, on the other hand, may not be aware that something is wrong when they're in a manic phase.

Some schizophrenics could also not know that something is wrong.

Rather than go into lengthy explanations of what those disorders are, I suggest that YOU do a little research into psychological disorders. Lumping them together into one category called "crazy" indicates that you don't know what you're talking about.

There are simply many disorders having different symptoms. Learn about them before posting a such a question, so that you don't inadvertently insult or offend someone who understands what these disorders are and how they affect people.

Crazy is not a correct psychiatric or psychological term.
Be specific.
If they had a psychological condition they may be aware or they may be in denial. It depends on the case.
