They just beat Georgetown 13 days ago, (who is a #2 seed by the way) and the Orange don't make they tournament? Cmon. Fire these committee members. Seriously. Not like the Orange have proven themselves lately with a national title in 2003 and running through the toughest Big East in modern history last year as the 9 seed. What gives. These guys suck................

You morons obviously don't realize that past performance in the tourney matters. Or do you think that Duke is the 24th best team in the country after they got smoked again? Wake up. SU should have been in b/c they have proven themselves historically and recently. (see Georgetown game)

YES THEY WERE RIPPED OFF! im so mad at they didnt make it in. they beat g-town, and then they beat marquette AT marquette and split w/ villanova, and finished ahead of villanova and they made it in. its some BS

Winning a title four years ago does not matter. Those players are gone. 'Melo has been gone for several years.
The committee evaluates on the team's recent body of work. Yes, the Georgetown win was big. But the Cuse is not in because they faltered in the Big East tourney. Play strong in that, and they are in. If Marquette had picked up another win, they'd be looking at a 5-6 seed. But they didn't and they get a tough 8-9 game.

(PS -- I am from the midwest, and am neutral as far as all Big East teams go. But this was a rob job).

You obviously say that because you're a Syracuse fan. I respect that, however, one win doesn't get you into the dance. Your entire resume is considered, and when they were compared to other strong teams, they just didn't cut it.
