A positive pregnancy test result is generally very accurate. If the test was carried out correctly and the result read within the valid reading time (usually up to 10/15 mins) then it indicates you are pregnant. The absence of symptoms is not unusual at all - some women are lucky and have a problem free pregnancy others suffer a bit more! Symptoms usually take a few weeks to kick in properly anyway , usually at around 6-8 weeks you may experience more, but if you dont it does not mean anything is wrong. Make an appointment with your doctor, he/she can confirm the pregnancy by carrying out a test themselves. It is very natural to be scared after a miscarriage but it is a fact that most women go on to have a healthy pregnancy next time! I wish you all the best, take care of yourself x

if the test says positive then most likely you are, some women don't experience many pregnancy symptoms or some may not experience none at all. when i was pregnant i didn't know for a long time. yes my period was late but has been late several times before so that really wasn't a sign for me. new that my appetite had increased just a little more than usual. i never had morning sickness or any thing. so you don't have to have symptoms to be pregnant. you may not have them now but you might later on. if you don't consider yourself lucky because according to new mothers i know, morning sickness is no joke.
but to be on the safe side and not get you hopes up too soon go to the doctor and get a test done there.

Go to your Dr. I miscarried Sept 05 and in Jan 06 I was sleeping a lot and started having light pains I took a test and it was positive. Went to the Dr. the next day and they did all the blood work my progesterone was really low and he put me on pills if I waited any longer I might have had another miscarriage. Just to let you know if you Doc puts you on the progesterone pills they increase symptoms big time (well they did for me) I was on the couch for four weeks I was so sick. But I have a beautiful 6 month old so it was worth it. Hope everything turns out as good for you. God Bless.

It can happen you, usually when you stop worrying about getting pregnant and let nature take its course. My sister had a miscarriage and a few months later she fell pregnant, the symptoms didn't start till quite some time later. The best thing would be to pop into a pharmacy or your GP and get a urine test to confirm. In the meantime you could do another home pregnancy test just for reassurance. Maybe try a different brand to the one you already used?

I'm sorry to hear that.
Sometimes people get little symptoms or none at all.
I would recommend taking another pregnancy test and then going to the doctor.
Or even just going to the doctor.
I hope the outcome is what you hope for anyway =]
I know Ive only just turned 16 but Ive wanted to be a midwife since i was 6 and a half xD

your best bet is to wait really, I guess it all depends on if you have missed a peroid is the only way to be certain, if the test says posotive then there is a chance you could be pregnant, I would try another test and see what it says, then you can find out for sure. Id defenetly take another test if it was me, Im to impatient to wait lol, good luck xxxx

i would go get a blood test done. it is the best way to tell. some women wont have any symptoms at all. you can also have ever sort jof symptom you can think of in a pragnancy and another one you dont have any. so i would just go get blood test to know exactly for sure.

if your test says its positive then i would go with that answer and get yourself to a gp.to take a blood test. or even a urine sample. i know waiting 4 days can keep u wondering but at the end of the day it will ease your mind.
not all woman get any symptons i didnt with my lil boy and u should count yourself lucky to have no symptons i knew i was when i saw my friend go through them.

I love this site for help deciphering which tests are best:

Depending on how far along you are, you might not have symptoms yet. Make an appointment with your doctor and have a blood test, then go from there. Good luck! :)
