I tend to overthink everything in my life! Heres the next issue: So I call my guy friend to see when hes getting back on campus b/c at 9 Im watching a movie with friends and I want him to be there. I call him and he asks if I would like to go get him, I say sure. He asks when I want to go get him, I turn it on him and him when he would like to get picked up. He says whenever, well then i ask him if hes ready. he says sure? so then I tell him to call me when hes ready. Its been half hour. Is it ok if I call to ask if hes ready or do I wait? Its just that I want to start at 9. so it be best to go get him now, but he did say hed call me.

He said "sure", when you asked if he was ready. You should have said, "OK, leaving now.. see ya in a couple mins".

Why are you prancing around like you might do something wrong? Assert yourself... you're driving, you're going to pick him up... it's OK for you to expect a straight answer.

When a guy says "he will call you back" that could mean a good thing or a bad thing.

In the bad way first:
"I really don't want to go"
"why would i want to go to some thing with all these chicks?"
"i rather hang around at my house with a slab of beer with my mates"

In the good way:
"I'm busy right now i will call you back when i get a chance"
"I really need to think about it ill get back to you"

I hope that helped email me if you need some advice

Good Luck

Don't sweat. He would sure have called you if he didn't want to go or something, I'm sure he'll call you when he's ready. Especially if you still have an ample amount of time left, it's okay.
But if you're getting late, then call him up.

He already said he was ready, so he felt no need to call you.

Just go and pick him up.

From your description, you told him to call you. He did not say that he would.

Call him, you want to watch your movie! It won't be pushy if he forgot to call you.
