I would dissolve the Zn in HCl. This does not dissolve the gold.

you could add a strong acid acid (sulfuric, nitric, hydrochloric) which would dissolve the zinc but not the gold. They you could filter out the ionic solution and you'd just have the gold.

zinc is more reactive than gold.
