i updated my ipod but when i lay it it just goes through every song like it shows up for literally one second then goes to the next so within a minute it has gone through 50 songs.. and it wont load up my pictures and playlist i needdd hellppp!!!!!! i tried reseting it..it doesnt work

Reinstall the firmware or contact to Apple.

Do you have the warranty? If you bought your iPod from an Apple store or apple.com, you can send it in for service and they might be able to fix it. I sent mine in and though it wans't repairable, they said they'd give me a $30 credit towards a new iPod when I went to the store. Great deal, huh? Not really! Instead, I sold my iPod for parts on ebay and got a FREE iPod from this website http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=36920289 All I had to do was buy 3 DVDs for $6 and get 5 of my friend to do the same. I got the DVDs in a week and the iPod a few weeks later. Try it our, it works! Good luck.

i had this problem too. it would only play the songs from cds. i was using a wall charger and all i had to do was plug it into the computer
