Football, also known as Association football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players each. It is widely considered to be the most popular sport in the world. A ball game, it is played on a rectangular grass field, or occasionally on artificial turf, with a goal at each end of the field. The object of the game is to score by manoeuvring the ball into the opposing goal; only the goalkeepers may use their hands or arms to propel the ball in general play. The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is tied at the end of the game, either a draw is declared or the game goes into extended time, depending on the format of the competition.
The modern game was codified in England following the formation of the Football Association, whose 1863 Laws of the Game created the foundations for the way the sport is played today. Football is governed internationally by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (International Federation of Association Football), which is commonly known by the acronym FIFA. The most prestigious international football competition is the World Cup, held every four years. This event, the most widely viewed and famous in the world, boasts twice the audience of the Summer Olympics

There are 3 positions: defense, middle field, and forward. Each position have 2 or more people playing it. The goaly is first. The person in front of him is defense, with last man in the middle. Defense, of course, means to not let people get a shot. In front of the defense is the middle fielders, who pass the ball to defense or forwards. The forwards are the ones who make the goals. It can't always be forwards to make goals. It can be every position. They have to be behind the defense of the other team in other to make to ball legal to play or else that's called an offside and the ball goes to the other team. So I guess that's it.. hope this helps

11 vs 11, and the idea is to place the ball inside the opponents goal without touching it with your hands or arms. For some unknown reason, people tend to use their feet and sometimes even their head to drive the ball for this purpose. This isn't American football, so no one is allowed to charge, punch, kick, drag or grab or use any kind of violence to gain control of the ball, so you can only play and touch the ball. Just play the ball, not your opponent's kidney.
Oh well, only the keepers can use the hands.
And that's basically it. How do you manage to do it is your problem, the formation/strategy is all up to you. And the one who scores more goals wins.
Simple, isn't it??
