Money and status can make up for hotness any time any day. I am being 100% serious. Why do you think unattractive powerful old men get beautiful women to be with them? Power!! Money!! That's what.
I'll give you an example. I didn't believe this myself until I experienced it. I met this gorgeous guy but he didn't have a great job which meant he wouldn't be able to provide the life I want so I didn't want to pursue anything with him. Sad but true.
You see when a women meets someone and thinks "Eww he is so ugly" and she is turned off but the moment she hears her friend whisper "Jen, he owns 4 hotels and many clothing stores.He is one of the richest guys in the city." She automatically think "wow..he isn't that bad. I should go talk to him."

I think your right to a point but to paint everyone with the same brush is ignorant.
I'm 40 and I'm engaged to a 29 year old. I was broke with my business for 6 years and I'm avg. looking and she is a beauty. I'm turning the corner financially and can finally afford to get married. She was there when I could barely afford my phone and heat; and it was for a long time.
In today's world the women's movement is dead. Instead of women being better than scummy men, they did the opposite and have become as sleazy as men. There are thousands of teenage girls that would die to be on girls gone wild. Look on Youtube and there are so many women sleezing it up with other girls just for attention, money, or exposure.
ALSO many women that marry older men, are cheating on the side, so don't say they're totally into money.
I think your right to a point but some of us are lucky. I have the best women in the world and we're a great team. It's sad though that many women have proven that females aren't the better sex anymore; women are now just as shallow and sleazy as us men.

Yes you are right. Egocentric, selfish, shallow women, that's what they want.
Girls with a shred of decency, intelligence and self respect want a man that treats them well and is a good person.
I have never dated a man based on his income, I never even thought about if they were wealthy or poor. All that I wanted was someone that made me laugh and was a good, decent person.
The people I know that have only dated men based on their money have turned out to be miserable and little more than high-end prostitutes..

Women who express those wants, only fuel the perception that women are all surface and have nothing of value underneath where it counts. I wouldn't want a woman who loved me for my money,
Besides, women who marry for status, are nothing more than prostitutes with a pedigree.
It may be cliche' but look at Cinderella, The humble girl with real love in her heart, won her prince while the greedy, stepsisters and mother were left without anything but their empty hearts to keep them company.
REAL women marry for the things that last. Love, Honor, Loyalty, Compassion, friendship, and longevity.
No honor worth anything can be sold, for any price.

I am glad that you are not speaking for all woman. My first fiance owned a multi million dollar business at 24. I left him for a bus driver and have been happily married for 21 years. not all woman want glitz and glamor, some go for love, the home in the country, and just plain family traditions.

If you make that much friggin' money, what the hell do you need a rich guy for? I think you need your equal, someone who's as ambitious, smart, funny, shallow, if that's the case or not.Money,power, or looks alone could never be enough for me. I need someone who gets me. That crap all comes and goes with a recession or a bad accident, a true connection can never be broken.

only moneyed folks can afford to buy rich models cause in the cover of darkness its not the face that counts but the fat cheque fatso will give give. money and take the honey

How about women who are nuns and live in poverty. I don't agree with their choices but they don't seem to want that. Many are happy with a very simple life.
