It was too harsh on your face.

If you're concerned with blackheads, I know an awesome trick that works beautifully, but you might think it odd... :)

Fresh onion juice! Cut an onion and rub it lightly on your face. There are substances in onion that cause your body to want to cleanse itself outward (and push out blackhead dirt). It works so well. After one night, they will probably be gone; if not, repeat for another night or two.

Warning: your face will smell like food each time you wash it or are out in the rain, for a few days. You can't smell it when your face is dry however. I have also heard that you can eliminate onion smell from your skin if you rub it with stainless steel (the next morning), but I have not tried this.

Good luck.

PS Since you just got them, if you lay off the Biore, the red veins will most likely disappear on their own in a few days or less.

they're usually caused by harsh cleansers, sun exposure or allergies. go to the doctor's and ask for pulse dye laser treatments. supposedly no home remedies can prevent these.you should get one to three treatments each a month apart. they can cost up to $250-600 a session.they vanish completely . use mild cleansers only(no acids or gritty scrubs) and always wear noncomedogenic sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher during the day like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55 $9.

hope this helps :D

You should try to ask a dermatologist. I think that you weren't supposed to use the biore strips on your cheek. They make two different strips, one for the nose and chin and one for the rest of the face.
