My paper must be 3-5 pages long and I am having trouble finding enough info as well as getting a precise clear thesis.

The big "Golden Arches" are actually a giant "M" - for McDonalds - names after the brother team of Dick and Mac McDonald (who eventually went into business with Ray Kroc who is the one who took the one restaurant and made it into an empire.

I found a bunch of information on McDonalds website (listed below) and on this website is also a number of books which might be helpful.

It looks like a giant yellow "M" to me. But an arch symbolized entrances, beginnings, grandness......
