It covers your lungs with tar and the nicotine becomes a craving to your body.I smoked for 35 years and am now trying to quit but its been 3 months and I still want it...It makes you tired and short of breath.Usually people who smoke have serious respiratory illness a lot of the time.I have tried many times to quit and failed but am trying really hard this time...

Your lungs are filled with toxins, and eventually they become hard and blackened with tar. It also causes a lot of lung, heart, and throat diseases... possibly difficulties with preganacy if you are female.
