I don't think that I regret it because it gave me some experience with people. It was a horrible experience. We were "together" for a little under a year. I was at that point where I literally would have done anything to make a girl happy and because I liked her I tried to. Of course, that was a HUGE mistake. She started to get turned off when I did that. For the last couple of months it was really just futile. Even though I had hopes, it was obvious that it wasn't going to straighten up.

Like I said, it wasn't the greatest experience but it was a lesson well learned.

Do I regret my first love? No. We had good times together. And it taught me a lot - even though I got hurt, I can't say that I would change anything that happened. Your first love in life is what teaches you ow to handle your second, third, etc. Don't regret it - appreciate it as the lesson it was, and go on.

Dated someone from age 15-19. Loved him to death. I got pregnant.... he wanted me to have an abortion. So... I did. I am now 33 and mentally never the same. I have abandonment issues and have never been able to be in a stable relationship and I blame it on him. Funny thing is... my mother is great friends with his mother... and he is now married with 2 kids. He has no idea how that has impacted my life. Yes, he was the love of my life.... but he also killed my spirit and my soul and ruined me for future loves....... He was scared.... he was young. Do I regret him? I can't answer that... cause I loved him so much. I regret what happened.....

Hey, Hi! Buddy..

Love cannot be regretted as long as it is so true to be ...as long as you feel that person is around you although they are not.

If you try to possess it then you are surely gonna regret it, sooner or later depending upon the circumstances you are with!

First Love will never be forgotten like most people say and they are telling the truth because it is the fact and it cannot be changed as long as it is love although if it is not a true one!

Love between the person whom you are in love with is always a mere one even if you tell "I L U"..

Bye for now,
Krishna.

My "first love" was what adults refer to as "puppy love" Of course I don't regret it. We were both very young and it would have never worked out. And I would have never met the one woman who has given me everything I could ever hope for - Love and affection, friendship (very important) support, gentleness, first aid, and a verbal lesson when I was about to make a very big boo boo. While I love this woman with everything I have and am, there will always be a special place in my heart for my "first love". I think "first loves" are very important in a person's life. It helps you to grow.

No, I don't regret my first love. My husband and I went to school together, dated in school, and now we've been married for 20 years.

I don't regret my first love I just wish we could have met when we were older so it could have worked out. We met at 15 and my dad died so we had to move apart.

No, because if I wouldn't have married him I would never have had my son.
Something good always comes out of something bad.
My son was the something good and so was my second husband who fell in love with him first. He told me that he loved me, but it was my son who clinched it.
When he died, I raised the kids myself and didn't fall inlove for 20 years.
But I lucked out and found the love of my life. I'll spend the rest of it with him until the day I die.
I don't regret anything!
