what about using the spray bath

It's best to try for 70 degrees F for a thorough bath, but at least 60 is best. When it is colder than this, use grooming wipes or miracle groom and curry it in.

A good gage is if you think it is too cold then its too cold
Remember you can blanket, and account for wind chill factor and also if your stabling your horse. Use your common sense..

I live in Southern California so that has never been a real concern when I had Horses

Best thing to do is to ask Your Big Animal Vet ?

if you can not walk out side and be comfortable in a t-shirt then it is to cold.

well you know how it feels like 25 degrees cooler when wet, i would just take that into consideration

well if you bring it in it should be ok as long as your bathroom is on the ground floor,
