yeah there is only one seam. if your wondering about a 2 seam and a 4 seam fastball it is talking about how many places on the seam you are throwing with. 2 seam is where your fingers are paralell with the laces. a 4 seam fastball is where your fingers lay across the laces making an "H" with a nother line. a 2 seam from a right hander tends to brake in and a little down to a right handed batter. a 4 seam tend to have no break and has more velocity than a 2 seam.
