Vinegar won't cure a yeast infection, but it sure will hurt a lot. Don't be cheap, go and get Monistat or one of the meds that actually work.

I tried all sorts of natural things to cure these in the past because Monistat wasn't working. Turns out I had a different kind of infection. If you're just trying to save money, I'd just get the Monistat. It's faster than the other stuff. You can run some warm water in your tub and put in a 1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and sit in it. It does help by making you more acidic. You could also get tea tree oil suppositories. These may work, but I put one in and it burned horribly. Some people use boric acid suppositories. I've never tried them. In sum, I'd use the drug store brand.

I never heard of using vinegar to cure a yeast infection but what I know what the doctors use vinegar for is when you go in for a pap and the do the exam if they see lesions while there doing a pelvic exam they will put vinegar on you lesions to see if is cancer because the lesions will turn white if it's cancer.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

no but I have heard of putting a clove of garlic up there to cure a yeast infection, although I would never do it! My sister has done this and she says it works really well.

you can use it as vinegar douche

Flushing your vagina with a dilute solution of vinegar and water occasionally--no more than once a week -- may help prevent yeast infection recurrences. The vinegar makes the vagina a little more acidic, which is bad for yeast.

I've never heard of that, but taking garlic supplements to treat them. I know from experience. Take 3000mg-5000mg per day until it's gone. No antibiotics! and it's cheap. You can go to Wal-Mart and get it in the vitamin aisle.
