Homeostasis simply means "one state", the body has negative feedback mechanisms to change something if the environment changes to maintain it at that "one state"

Temperature regulation - if cold body shivers, get "goosebumps", blood vessels constrict.. to preserve heat
Ih hot... u sweat to lose heat, blood vessels dilate

Blood glucose monitoring

There are many other examples

U myt find this website useful for the basics (GCSE level -UK)

Homeostasis just means that our bodies adjust in order to keep balanced.

Examples:
1. We exercise and get too hot. Our bodies cool us off by sweating and sending more blood to the vessels in our skin to let heat radiate out.
2. We sweat a lot. Our kidneys don't put out as much water, so our bodies will still have the right concentration of water inside.

when you workout and then sweat...your body is tring to mantain its internal temperature by cooling you down
and when you get cold you shiver to warm your body up to maintain your normal 98.7 temp
