Is it okay to use amsoil oil10-30 for my 96 lexus?

not worth it for an eleven year old car. The additives in the Amsoil may cause different viscosity readings to your oil pressure sensor and cause it to read erratically. This was a major issue for synthetics when they first came about.
Regular oil changes with the weight recommended by Lexus is ideal.

unless your oil cap says otherwise, it will be ok. check your owners manual too.
